Come and Lead Our Benefice

We are prayerfully seeking the person God is calling to lead our benefice into its next chapter of worship, mission, and ministry. We are looking for a priest of spiritual depth, pastoral warmth, and collaborative leadership who will help us grow as disciples of all ages and continue to serve our communities with faith, hope, and love. Sustaining Our Church: A Call to Stewardship

As we look to the future, we want to share an important message: it now costs over £112,000 a year - £310 every single day - just to keep the doors of St Kyneburgha's open. This includes essentials such as heating, lighting, insurance, maintenance, ministry, and community outreach.

St Kyneburgha's relies almost entirely on the generosity of individuals to sustain its work and care for its historic fabric. Many are surprised to learn that we receive no central funding for the upkeep of the building or the day-to-day costs of ministry.

We invite you to consider supporting us financially.  One of the most effective ways to give is through the Parish Giving Scheme. It allows you to make a one-off donation or set up regular giving - monthly, quarterly, or annually. If you are a UK taxpayer, the scheme also enables us to reclaim an extra 25% on your gift through Gift Aid.

With heartfelt thanks and blessings, Michael Samways, Churchwarden
